New App version 4.12.5 (7366) will not allow multiple camera use outside the preset mode (i.e. Arm Away, Arm Home, Standby). For instance with the old app I could program a schedule when I would arrive/leave home disabling/activating my garage and driveway cameras. I was then able to turn on just the two backyard cameras in a separate schedule.

Arlo made the change to the user interface to enhance the user experience since the arlo home security product only has three mode buttons.

Hopefully Arlo will add custom modes to the new user interface.

Do you ever want the garage/driveway cameras armed and the backyard cameras disarmed?

You could potentially set up Armed Away to enable all cameras, and Armed Home to only enable the backyard cameras. Then use Standby to disarm all cameras.
