Why does my Android app look different than my brothers?

I've had Arlo cameras and the Arlo app for years. I've been very happy with everything about this system. My brother recently purchased Arlo cameras, the same essential spotlight outdoor cameras that I just upgraded to. When we compare our apps, mine looks the same as it has looked for some time, but his looks newer, with different features and different options. We are both using version 4.5.1_28540.

There is a new updated app. All new users automatically get the new app.

Over time everything will transition to the new app.

To add a little clarity, the latest apps support both the old user interface (UI) that uses Library to view videos as well as the new UI that uses Feed. The app is the same but the UI can be different. Ultimately, all users will get the new UI.
