Detection settings no longer working?

Since Sept 1st, our cameras have stopped recognising anything other than ‘Motion’. We have not changed plans, yet apparently cannot change back to having it recognise people, animal, vehicle, etc. Why is this? We need those features to recognise others while we are not home & I cannot figure any of this out when it was working perfectly prior to that date.

Have you checked the settings in Settings, Home, Early Warning System, Smart Detection? Note that the "Early Warning System" is new to me and may be related to a beta. Either way, you're looking in Smart Detection for the configuration.

The other possibility is that your subscription has expired.

Thanks for the info. Subscription is still valid & no Early Warning System mode available in the app for me.

Are you sayng that you cannot find the settings?

Or that the system won't let you change them?

Both. So the settings have disappeared from each camera & the app overall. So now, the system won’t allow me as the settings are no longer there. There is now “Arlo Intelligence” as an option, but it does not recognise basic that we’re paying for as part of my plan.
