Thanks, Jeff, but it's not there!

To replicate, do the following:

In Automations, select the device to Edit Device Rules, then Add an action, then Play Sound > Choose the chime.

The issue itself: to delete, please do in this order: delete Adjust Device Settings, then go to Play Sound. The Delete button is not there. I believe that once you delete Adjust Device Settings, the Play Sounds should delete automatically but it doesn't.

Another issue: what you have to do is then to Delete Rule. *However*, when you set up a new one, you're asked whether you want notifications. Even if you deselect this option, you still end up with a rule that notifies you.

It's now the norm that there is always an issue with the app. The dev team, and especially the person in charge, should be ashamed.

So, what's not working this time?

Trying to delete an action of playing a sound through a chime after setting up notifications for whenever there is motion detected. In order to remove the action, one has to delete the whole rule for a specific camera.

This system is so fragile that one is actually afraid to change anything in their set up.

Did you click on the sound action and notice the Delete Action selection at the bottom? Maybe you have to scroll?

You steps don't correlate with what I see. For starters, to create the action I can't stop at choosing the chime. I have to then select a sound. Maybe you just missed that step.

Then to delete, I can't find an "Adjust Device Settings" but just Next. That brings me to select a sound which completes the setup and returns to the rule settings main page. From there I can edit Play Sound and choose to delete the action.

Something is different between what you see vs. what I do. I'm using the Android app and find the web client is slightly different but ends up deleting with no issue. Perhaps reinstalling the app would help?

You then won't be able to delete Play Sound. The other way round, it works fine.
