New app interface!!!

Can anyone tell me why this app update is so terrible? The previous version was user friendly, allowed for great customization of my multiple cameras with scheduling, and helped to keep my cameras from running the batteries down by recording me every time I pass the camera on my lawn mower while cutting grass. This three mode option to control all cameras is ridiculous and even in stand by the camera records 40+video clips of my lawn mower. It’s crap and as a long time paying subscriber I’m very disappointed! People have been asking about these same problems since Sept. of 2024 and almost a year later, the app still sucks and I so want an older version that actually worked for the life I live. Very disappointed in the service I pay for that I once thought was great.

Bring back the user defined and customizable scheduling option from the old app!!!

It shouldn't record at all in "Standby". Have you checked that mode to make sure there are no rules for the cameras in it?

I have seen some other users report this - if there are no rules in the mode, then you are also affected by the bug. Unfortunately, I don't know of a workaround, short if turning the camera off in the device settings. The mods - @BrookeN , @JamesC , @ShayneS - might have some suggestions.

I agree it's not enough. Arlo has said they are bringing back custom modes, hopefully that will be soon.
