I have an Arlo account that I have previously been able to log into many times on various devices with no problem.

For the last few days, I have been asked for verification when I log in e.g. email or SMS. When I choose these methods, I enter the code sent and the log in doesn't work. It either says "timed out" "something went wrong" or "too many requests".

This happens on my Android 14 phone with the latest Arlo app as well as on my PC (Windows 10 and edge browser/chrome browser). I have tried clearing cache data and re-installing but it still won't work.

Note: The only device that works okay is an old Android 10 phone with a previous version of the Arlo app that I am deliberately not going to update until this issue is solved.

Does anyone have this problem or know a solution?

Can you please dm me a callback number as well as a good time to call. That way I can have support look into this further. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.

Thanks for your reply. Since I posted my question I noticed the base station LED flashing orange which I understand to be network connection problems.

I can now login on all my devices with no problems.

I have no idea why this has happened as I haven't changed anything.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you tell me if the issue was fixed by a firmware update or a software change at the Arlo end, as I didn't change anything and the login started to work correctly?
