How do you make the app stay on arm away when you’re gone? Mine keeps switching to schedule when we’re gone.

Turn off the two schedule automations in Arm Away

I made the same mistake when first away for a few days. A scheduled kicked in and disable the system. ☹️

With the old experience you could select fully armed or one of any number of custom schedules. Fully armed was a rock solid security setting. With the new experience, the schedules are applied to 3 fixed modes. Which means you have to remember to make manual edits to your modes/schedules should your normal home/away patterns change.

Unfortunately, the limited modes of the new experience can lead to a comprise in the security of your home.
