Setting up 'mode'

Hello,

Recently bought some Ultra cameras, but I am struggling a bit to set the modes and rules up to my needs. I therefore hope that you would be able to assist me in how to set it up?

Here are my requirements:

- The cameras must record when I am not home (Geofencing).

- But not in a certain timeframe each day, when the nanny is at my home with the kids.

- The outside cameras must record from 11 PM to 6 AM every night.

Right now I have set it up like this:

- Have chosen Geofencing as my base mode.

- In Geofencing I have chosen Schedule in both home/not home.

- In Schedule I have made a Night timeframe.

But I do not know how to setup the cameras not to record when the nanny is here (ie from 2 PM to 5 pm).

Do you see "Library" in your app menu? Or do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" instead?

no cameras armed when the Nanny is there (2 pm to 5 pm)
only outdoor cameras armed at night when you are home

What cameras do you want armed when you are home but the Nanny is not there?

Yes, I have 'Library' at the bottom of my app. 🙂

Just to make sure I get this -
indoor and outdoor cameras all armed when you are not home
no cameras armed when the Nanny is there (2 pm to 5 pm)
only outdoor cameras armed at night when you are home

Yes, that is correct:

All cameras armed (both inside and outside) when I am not home.
No cameras armed when Nanny is there.
Only outside cameras armed at night when I am home
No cameras should be armed, if I am home during daytime.

This summary isn't quite right, I think it's actually this:

When I am not home

All cameras armed between midnight and 2 pm
no cameras armed between 2 pm and 5 pm (weekdays?)
all cameras armed between 5 pm and midnight

When I am home

No cameras armed between 6 am and 11 pm
outdoor cameras armed between 11 pm and 6 am.

This is a problem with Library, because you need two schedules to accomplish this - one for "home" and one for "away". Arlo only lets you have one schedule.

Your options are to either

leave outdoor cameras armed all the time when you are home.
leave all cameras armed all the time when you are not home.

Either change results in only needing one schedule.

Yes, I also concluded that I was missing a second calendar in order to use the cameras as i wanted.
