Arlo Q Plus mounted outside

Just checking to see if anyone has mounted an arlo Q plus outside?

I know they are not waterproof but I was going to mount it under the eave of the house out of the weather, I'm not sure if this will be okay or not.

tested same for a short while... no problems as covered from any rain.

But I do wonder about the winter with the blowing snow so trying to come up with some form of plastic container ( don't need the IR illuminators as the area has floods )

Any chance Netgear will make an outdoor version of the Arlo Q Plus? I don't trust Wifi for data transfer and POE means no power maintenance problems.

I have one mounted outside under a limited protection of an overhang. It's held up pretty well so far through some serious storms even in cold and snow. It's been out there about 4 months. So far so good.
