Problems with push-to-talk. Sound works when live but when pressing mic, sound goes dead.

Since the introduction of the new app I have had two way sound issues. Sound works when camera goes live but once I press the microphone to speak the sound goes dead and stays dead even when finger is off the microphone button have checked all sound settings and they seem ok and I have restarted the camera but has not changed things has anybody experienced the same problem or anybody got a solution ?

Verify that it is the app causing the issue by testing same on the web using a browser ( chrome or FFox )

with all the new updates, it may help to narrow down the possible causes
