If your Arlo Q is showing a fast blinking amber light, it sounds like your Arlo Q is not connected to a WiFi network yet. You will need to set up the Arlo Q and be connected to the same network as your phone.

Hello, I just recently purchased an Arlo Q to keep an eye on my dogs while I am away in Europe. My question is, by looking at the on screen instructions on the app. My camera has to be connected to the same network as my phone? I have a friend watching the house and dogs while I'm gone and he states he just gets a fast blinking amber light. He did say it chimed once and then buzzed right after. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
