Purple LED is usu a sign that the camera is near it's max range ...

Bring it closer and reset it again an see what happens

hihi all,

I have 2 Arlo Q, connected and working great for a year now.

Suddenly last week, both lost connection to Wifi at the same time.

I tried to re-connect, it takes forever after the Chime sound.

I've also tried removing device, and adding again.

Anything else I missed?

Thanks!

It would be strange that BOTH would be defective in the same time frame... So I would think the trouble is outside the cameras.

Be it you wifi, interference, etc ( not sure if a recent fw )

Do a reset of the Qs, ( hold in reset for about ten secs till the led flashes and then resync )

Thks.

I re-connect 1 camera, it's working now.
The other camera, I PIN-resetted it. And it's flashing purple LED at a slow speed every now n then. I read it meant connectivity issue. However this camera is the nearest to my router, compared to the 1st cam. Netgear app shows 75% signal strength.

Meanwhile, still looking through my router config for clues.
