'Mixing" Arlo & Arlo Q

We just purchased and installed Arlo with 4 cameras. We are planning to add a 5th camera and just found that there is an Arlo Q with audio. Can we purchase and install an Arlo Q as the 5th camera without changing out the base station?

Yes. The Q camera has nothing to do with the base station since it uses WiFi directly to your router.

As a ps; the 5 camera max amount counts all cameras be it Arlo or Q... unless you buy the CVR service, then the Q won't count in the total

Both cameras will appear in the program together but they do have to be ARMED separately ... You arm the Arlos and then must arm the Q camera

Great to know! Wish I'd known about the Q before I bought the system!
