I have the CVR package and I have the ability to record 24/7 how can I store recordings of that on an external device? Thanks.

You can't without effort and software on your side. I use a screen capture program and start CVR full screen. Then I'll start the screen capture to save to disk. It's the only thing you can do.

Only the "triggered" events that go to the Library also go to the external card if you use a Plus model.

Otherwise, its a screen capture as mentioned with the CVR
