I currently have the arlo VMC3030 but need to record more than 120 second with motion detect. I am looking to purchase the Arlo Q and use the CRV service. When using Arlo Q with the optional CVR service how much time can the motion activited recording be set to?

The Q has different options than the wireless cameras. You can record a fixed time up to 2 minutes or up to 5 minutes as long as motion can still be detected. The last part is key - if motion moves outside the zone the camera is set to use, recording will stop.

BTW, use of CVR gives you the ability to view what the recording missed.
