Arlo Q - Not discovering

I am setting up the camera at our mall to watch our display that I suspect is being messed with. It's unattended.

Tonight I signed onto the free wifi which had no password. Didn't seem to be an issue. The reason I mention it is because not sure if that's what the issue is. But when it's time for it to discover the device, it never discovers it. I brought our desktop as well as tried on my iphone and both no luck. I literally tried probably 50 times total and no luck.

Are you talking about the initial discovery where you face the QR code on your phone to the Q? Or are you talking about the Wfi setup? the Free Wifi might be your problem, I would take it home and hook it up to your home network to eliminate a hardware problem. You also have to input the SSID and password exaclty (e.g. upper and lower case )

The QR code is generated every time you try to sync the camera. There's nothing to lose.
