Using only Arlo Q

Hi, I am just wondering, if I purchase the Arlo Q, can this be used without purchasing the Arlo wire free camera and base station or is a base station required to use the Arlo Q as well? Also what is the difference between Arlo Q and Arlo Q Plus?

The Q can be used as a stand - alone... it hooks into your home wifi.(no base required )

Matter of fact tho the Arlo, Pro, Q cameras show up in the web/app , they can't be used together in the same MODE.

So if used together, the Qs armed and have their own schedule.

Difference between the Q and Q plus is the plus has a mem card slot and can use POE (power over ethernet) if you have it.

They are both indoor rated only
