Yes, I've done factory reset multiple times. Always the same end result. The very strange thing to me is that my wifi manager app shows that it has connected, but the arlo app does not.

I bought a new Arlo Q (I have others that have long been in use). Have tried to connect via various suggested methods, including WPS. Always ends up with "device not found", but my internet/wifi app shows that it has in fact connected. Blue LED keeps blinking.

Try using a PC (my.arlo.com). Disable any internet security and antivirus software on the PC during the install. If you can connect the PC using ethernet, then I suggest doing that as well.

I did try via PC(Macbook) this morning and that didn't work, although I don't have ability to connect PC via ethernet. I don't have antiviral software but I'm not sure about security settings(?). I also saw someone suggest that bluetooth on phone may interfere, so I'll try turning that off. And my wifi shows that it was connecting via 5ghz, and I assume that wouldn't make any difference vs 2.4?

Ideally the phone/PC and the doorbell are connected to the same wifi channel. So check for that.

No doorbell involved. And I assume they are connected to "same channel", but not sure how I would even check that. This is really quite ridiculous in my opinion. These devices should be much easier to connect. It seems like I may have wasted money on the two cameras I bought. I'm out of ideas and things to try. I have now tried it at a different home and wifi and the result is the same. I've tried resetting, limiting wifi to 2.4 ghz, and just about everything. Still no success. I wish there was a definitive way to fix it, but seems I may be just plain out of luck/screwed. Extremely frustrating. Arlo should be able to do better than this!

Check the router settings to ensure that the encryption method is set to WPA2 (AES). New routers may use WPA3 which may or may not work, depending on options that could be set.

My Q has been running for years with no issues. However, a couple of times I've had occasion to reinstall them (can't remember why) and had some problems but was eventually able to onboard them. You can try both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to see if that makes a difference.

There's been a suggestion here that very old firmware on a device can cause this to happen. It can't connect so it can't be updated. The newer Essential Indoor camera would be the preferred camera these days.

This would be my guess too. I think even though cameras are new out of box, they are too old and unless firmware can be updated they are not usable.

I know newer cameras would work, but I was trying to avoid the subscription requirement for recording.
