The app updated and now I cant seem to set up my cameras to the schedule I once had. It's much more complex

It seems that I either have all cameras on or none.

1) Does anyone know how to uninstall the update?

2) Is there a trick to this new version?

Why did they need to make unnecessary changes that no one asked for?!

You can't.

You have three modes you can tailor. By default "Standby" is the same as the old "disarmed", but you can modify that if you like.

So you can get

all cameras armed (perhaps "Armed Away")
no cameras armed ("Standby")
one group of cameras armed (perhaps "Armed Home")

They needed to make changes to align with their home security system. Plus there were other aspects of "Library" that were inconsistent, particularly if you have a mix of wifi-connected cameras and base stations.

But they obviously made some mistakes in their new design - missing use cases that matter to a lot of people. And there are bugs with geofencing+scheduling - that combination can't be made to work properly.

My guess is that they will put back custom modes (or some similar way to get more flexibility in scheduling).
