Q camera keeps turning on

Some outside my home is turning on my camera. Got the refurbished camera from Amazon two weeks ago. What can I do?

Have you shared access with any "friend" accounts?

Hi. Have not shared with anyone other than my spouse. Got the camera as a refurbished Q from Amazon. Would that have anything to do with it?

Cameras can only be onboarded to one account - and since you successfully onboarded, the camera cannot be in anyone else's account. Sharing is only supported via the "Friend" feature, and you can see the list of friends from the primary account. You can also see any "connected" partner accounts (alexa, etc) in the privacy center of the app.

You could reset the camera out of an abundance of caution and/or change the account password:

You will need to re-onboard the camera after to do the reset.

I still am not clear on how exactly you know the camera was turned on by someone else (what symptoms are you seeing).
