Q won’t read the QR code. Tried various distances, brightness settings, etc.

Hi, I’ve been trying to install my new Arlo Q but it just won’t read the QR code. I’ve tried various distances, brightness settings etc but nothing. I’ve searched the community and none of the answers have helped.
Any ideas?

Have you tried a computer browser? Is the film over the lens still there?

You didn't answer the question about the film over the lens but if it's not there and still failing, swap at the store.
