Good suggestions.
The problem is, on the home screen I want to be able to turn them off individually in an easy way. If I'm going to use the "Mode" function, I need eight modes to keep the flexibility for three cameras.

The solution of being able to turn the cameras on and off as needed is a big miss. Programming modes doesn't solve the need for flexibility, it locks it in.

My subscription plan includes 4 cameras. Should I only rely on modes to control the cameras? Four cameras require 16 modes if I'm going to keep it flexible.

It seems that the developers have planned for modes to be the answer. Going into each camera requires multiple taps and is not an easy solution, but a workaround.

Hi. Just updated the app.
I have three cameras, and two of them I want to be always on, and third one I want to control detection manually on/off. I have gone through all on the app many times and can not find a way.
By the way, My god the new app is crap. It is a heavy user interface. How on earth does things always needs to be updated just for the updates sake.

There are two ways. The first is to set up Arm Away to arm all three cameras, and set up Arm Home to only arm the two you want armed 24/7. Then switch to Arm Home to disarm the third camera, and switch back to Arm Away to arm it.

The second way is to just to into the camera device settings, and turn it off when you want to disarm it. Then turn it on to rearm.

My suggestion on modes was targetted at your original problem statement - wanting to turn off/on one specific camera.

The second method (turning the camera on/off from the device settings) can be done from the either the devices page or the dashboard (assuming you have widgets) The settings wheel for the camera is in the upper right of the video image, you touch it and then touch the on/off switch and you are done. There is then a re-enable control on the video image, so it is one less step to turn the camera back on again.

The only difference between "off" and "disarmed" is that you need to turn the camera back on before livestreaming.
