&lt;P&gt;Your old cameras were sold with 7-day free &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;cloud&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt; storage.&amp;nbsp; The video recordings you see in the app and my.arlo.com are NOT being stored on your hub.&amp;nbsp; They are instead stored in the Arlo Cloud.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, your new cameras do not have any free cloud storage.&amp;nbsp; So there will be no cloud recordings when the trial ends.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your VMB4000 does support local &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;recording&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;, but has no &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;playback&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt; functions.&amp;nbsp; The only way to see local recordings with your hub is to eject the storage using the app, and then connect the storage to a PC for browsing.&amp;nbsp; So living with that limitation is one option.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You could also purchase a smarthub (VMB4540 or VMB5000) and pair the new cameras with it.&amp;nbsp; Those smarthub models do have some playback functions, and some people do use them instead of purchaisng a subscription.&amp;nbsp; But there are a lot of limitations.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The limitations are that&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;recordings can only be viewed using the app - not in your browser ( my.arlo.com)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;recordings can only be viewed from the primary account - not "friend" accounts.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;there are no thumbnails - you need to download the recording to your phone before you see anything.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;there is no ability to make manual recordings or take snapshots.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;remote access requires router setting changes that many find difficult and which don't work with some internet service providers.&lt;/LI&gt;
