In the camera settings is a Connected To section that tells you whether it's to your WiFi or your base. The installation process would also have asked you if you wanted to connect to your base although I suppose REALLY old firmware would need to have been updated to allow this. If that's the case, remove a camera from your account and set it back up, being sure to choose the connection to your base.

The Base Station (VMB4000r3) was installed many years ago, with two (2) cameras. The original cameras are paired with the Base Station.

But I recently purchased two (2) more cameras, Pro 5S.

I can view their content, and the seem to be working through the Base Station, but are they paired?

Should they be paired?

There is a list of paired devices (cameras) and the two new are not listed while the two old are.

My goal is to use local recording.

I understand there is no remote access to video with the VMB4000r3. But I can view from the USB storage externally.
