I have 5 Arlo Pro 5 Camera's and noted there is a discrepancy between the firmware numbers:

4x VMC4060AerH5 running 1.040.28.17_195_ac8359b

1x VMC4060AerH53 running 1.050.32.4_65_b51262d

Although at first I was not aware of the different hardware numbers, after looking which firmware the camera's were running on, my eye fell on this as well.

Does somebody know what is going on and why I am not able to update the firmware of these 4 Pro 5's to the -apparently- latest 1.050? I have reset these camera's multiple times, without any success.

Arlo slow-rolls their firmware updates, and it is not uncommon for updates to reach different cameras in your account at different times. Plus, the "update firmware" control won't show you the most recent firmware until Arlo is ready to push it to that specific camera. So there is nothing you can do to force the pace.

I'm tagging the mods - @BrookeN , @JamesC , @ShayneS - as they might be able to schedule a push for the four cameras that are behind.

Thank you for your reply; do you know if there is any difference between the

VMC4060AerH5 and the VMC4060AerH53? And I was also wondering if there is an updated page with information on the current firmware versions, as the one on this community seems to be outdated?

The ARXHxx suffixes are small hardware revisions. Arlo doesn't publish what they are changing, but I think they are usually component substitutions that are either done for cost or availability reasons.

This is the link to the firmware versions: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Firmware-Release-Notes/Arlo-Firmware-Release-Table/m-p/1920885#M791

As Mentioned, firmware releases are generally in slow roll-out phases and may be limited to some regions temporarily. The link provided above will have the most recent released/dates.

Could you explain?

Best regards,

Michiel

After checking again, it appears this firmware version for your devices are in a slow rollout release for all regions. Your other devices will slowly update over night as the firmware is pushed out.
