How to use another mount with 5s total security mounts

I purchased 3 Arlo 5s 2k cameras with the total security mounts. I don’t want to use these mounts as I have a cinder block cement house and want to use other mounts that attach around a downspout with the typical screw in just like I do with my Arlo pro 4s. I can’t find the screw hole or a way to remove the total security mount so that I can use any other existing mount with the typical screw thread. Do I have to return these as they seem like one piece shells.

Yes, they are one piece.

You could buy replacement housing and mounts (pro 4/ultra housings will work), but exchanging the cameras would be cheaper.

Thanks for the reply and confirmation, I got this bundle w 3 cameras at a very good sale price but can’t use these mounts so I guess I will order regular housing mounts which would bring me up to just under the sale bundles price with regular housing. Then if I sell these mounts at half or less price I would still be doing really great. Maybe even find a trade as these are much more expensive but useless to me.

I am beyond frustrated with these mounts.... have to do a handstand on a ladder to get to the camera - that's if I can find the little tool that's now required.... to exchange the battery.... why the hell did they do this!?!? the magnet system was fine... regrets

It's a security mount which isn't supposed to be easy to overcome. However, if you check the accessories for the Pro 5 you'll see you can buy a separate case for it that then would allow you to use the magnetic base or a threaded mount.
