Is the 5S-2K compatible with the VMB4000 base station? I am unable to get the base station to recognize the camera.

How are you trying to add the camera? Mobile, desktop?

Thanks for your reply. I had originally connected the camera to my wifi network directly, not via the hub. I noticed right away that the battery was draining faster than my other "long-battery-life" cameras, and I thought it might have been the direct communication to my wifi that was causing the drain, so I wanted to connect it to the hub instead. I tried several times to sync the camera to the hub, using both the app on my mini pad and using my Mac. I could not get the camera to sync. I rebooted the hub, took out the battery and reinstalled it, ensured the camera battery was at 100%, etc., and nothing worked. I don't want a camera tied directly to my wifi (for privacy reasons), and now I'm stuck with a non-functioning, expensive paperweight.
