topic Familiar Faces in Arlo Pro 4 https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo-Pro-4/Familiar-Faces/m-p/1912368#M8978 <P>Hi Team,</P><P>I had a Google Nest camera 5 years ago , and even back then it was able to recognize "familiar faces" i.e. my wife , child , and me , without triggering alerts and recording (which then drains the battery). It is very frustrating that Arlo still does not have such a feature after 5 years ! Can somebody please advise when this feature is due to be released , as this is a very old "AI" feature which most phones have been doing even longer (i.e. facial recognition logins for most Android and Apple phones have been in existence for a similar period) ? Other than this essential "feature" , it would be really good to know what the Arlo software team has been working on all these years , or at least what the pipeline of releases in the coming 6 months looks like .
