I had 2 of my Pro 4 camera mounts crack today. I live in NorCalifornia, and yes it is cold today, but only upper 30's to low 40's. It was 42F outside when I went out to replace 2 batteries, and the plastic mount piece just broke off when I held the camera body to replace the batttery. Anyone else experience similar "mount cracking?"

Are you talking about the magnetic mounts? If so, I have had two where the plastic tab on the back broke off.

One was attached to a tree, and I think the tree growth eventually put too much pressure on the mount. I was removing the second when it cracked. So I don't think cold temperature was a factor. I live in New England, so it often gets much colder than the upper 30s.

I do have other magnetic mounts outdoors that are still working with no issue. I also use screw mounts, and I've never had one of those crack.
