Arlo Pro 4/VMB5000 animals detected

Am getting frequent "animal detected" with this setup. No animals visible in the the video. Is there a setting I should change?

You can either turn off animal notifications in Settings, Smart Notifications or view the video in the library and use the menu to Donate it so Arlo can fine-tune the AI algorithm.

Where is smart notifications/animals? Can't find it in the iOS app or at my.arlo.com.

Navigate to the profile icon in the top left > Home > Smart Notifications > Select device > Motion Alerts

Clicking the profile icon takes me to a page where there is no Home entry. There is a Notifications entry, but choosing that only gives me a menu that allows me to mute notifications.

There is no Smart Notifications selection available anywhere I can find.

I have noted on other occasions that the Arlo app has been redesigned and no longer matches the available information about it.

If you see "Library" in the menu:

select settings in the app, and you will see smart notifications in the "arlo secure" section.

If you see "Feed"

select the profile icon in the app, and you should see a "locations and plans" section right under "notifications". That should include home (or whatever you named the location). Select that, and you should see "smart notifications".

It would be right under the notifications section, within the "Location and plans" section > Home should be listed. Do you have your address all setup etc?

Don't know why Arlo buries settings in such an arcane menu structure. Finding things is really tough.
