What is the since of getting notifications

I have the Pro SmartHub (well, maybe not so bright) VMB4540

If you can't see what has happened on your property w/o out a cloud subscription?? If you are a business with that feature, who wants to sink $120 a year to see a dog go through your yard? Having buyers remorse, the only good thing is that I purchased it from Costco, and I will take all the cameras and the base station and put it in a box, and give it back to Costco; I am sure enough people do that, Arlo will take notice for sure.

If you purchased arlo cameras back in 2018 before the ultra model you would have the 7days free cloud storage feature.

This was the decider for me getting the pro2 cameras. Might be something to consider if you can get hold of them.

You may want to look out for the subscription discount deals they sometimes push through the app. Never tried them so not sure they work.

You should be able to access local USB recordings via the app.

They could still be working although some say they have stopped.
