so I bought a Pro 4. 3 pack. The one where the swivel/anti-theft housing/mount is attached to the camera. but I'm having issues with where to mount it. First, I have vinyl siding. but mostly I have a 1-story house and the roof slopes down so anywhere I would mount this would be within a hand-reach of someone could rip it off the house.

So I considered a gutter-mount system- it would be a bit higher. and can't figure out which one to get since i don't see how the swivel mount and housing comes off the camera to screw it into one of these systems for gutter hanging that I've seen on Amazon, which seems to need to be screwed directly into the camera housing.

Help with these issues? suggestions?

One possibility is to purchase the regular housing, so you have more options on mounting. If the camera is out of reach, then you can likely dispense with the security mount.

This one will work (The pro 3, pro 4, and ultra all take the same housing).

Though if the camera won't be that accessible, you might consider the XL upgrade kit. The larger battery will require less recharging.
