topic Battery life in Arlo Pro 4

My camera battery is running down much faster lately. It lasted about 5 months when I first put it up. That was this past June. It’s now losing its charge every two weeks. I haven’t changed anything in the settings so I’m not sure why all of a sudden it’s burning through its charge so quickly. Also does anyone have a phone number so you can talk to an actual person?

1) Disable Smart for the camera in Smart Notifications so you see all the videos being recorded. Smart will discard some videos so you don't have an accurate accounting. If the recordings exceed 5 minutes per day, including any live viewing, that's likely your problem. Turning down the sensitivity in your modes and rules would be useful as well as repositioning the camera to eliminate areas of minimal interest such as the street and trees/bushes which can reflect the sun's IR. Don't forget that the sun's angle changes over time leading to false triggers during certain times of the year.

2)If you have a subscription, you can use Settings, Support to access a phone number.
