Battery Charge level doesn't update

Just bought a Pro 4 XL. I had to return the first unit because one of the 3 cameras would not take a charge. I find the while charging, the battery level indicator doesn't update itself on the app. If I disconnect the magnetic charger and reattach it, the battery level updates on the app. What's up with this?

Also, is there polarity to the usb plugin adapter? Both the prongs are the same size, but when plugged in the adapter gets pretty hot.

By the way my model is VMS4352P....not available on the model drop down menu. So I chose what I thought might be the closest model.

The same size prongs means there is no polarity.

That is a system sku (kit of multiple devices). Those aren't listed here.

You made the right selection, as the VMC4050P/VMC4041P (Pro 4) are the closest matches. The PRO 4 XL model is actually the VMC4052P - you'll see that inside the camera (behind the battery) if you look.
