Hello, we want to power our cameras permanently and are against it not working with the 5v 2A charger. Do we have to get a 9v 1A charger? Thank you.

If outdoors, the Arlo outdoor charger would be the way to go. It supplies 9v but I don't recall the current capability. The 9v is due to the cable length, not for what the camera desires, AFAIK.

It is 9v, 1A.

Hello, I bought a 9v 1a power supply on amazon but the camera does not accept charging and I cannot find an OEM Arlo charger. Do you know where to get some?

The Arlo VMA5600C is available (in stock) at US Amazon, BestBuy and Arlo.com.

There are quite a few third-party outdoor chargers that claim to work with Arlo Pro 4s ( or Pro 3 and Ultra - which use the same accessories). Some might be 5 v 2a, I've seen at least one 9 volt one. I've only used Arlo chargers, so I have no direct experience with third party ones.
