Hi All:

I have thrown away by mistake the 'yellow' inline coupler ( I guess this is its name) that came with the Arlo Pro Base Station VBM4000. I can't hook now the ethernet cable to the Base Station as this piece is now missing. Do you know guys where I can buy it again instead of going for the full Station again?

I posted the picture with this message so you may see what I'm talking about.

Thank very much for you help/feedback.

That connector isn't supposed to be detachable. Was it loose inside the box? Or did you remove it somehow?

Thanks @StephenB. Thank you for your comment, and sorry for the late reply. I detached it from the device when I pulled the ethernet cable. My mistake, but now I am paying the consequences. Do you know if that little yellow square piece can be bought somewhere. I have visited 3+ electronics stores here in Houston and can't find it.

The problem here is that the RJ-45 socket isn't supposed to be removable. Not sure how you did that (normally it would have required quite a bit of force).

A replacement socket can be purchased, but it needs to be wired into the base station. Your best option is to find an electronics repair shop (perhaps a PC repair shop), and see if they will fix it. You could of course also look for a replacement base (though they are hard to find).
