topic How to improve MP4 bitrate for PRO4 cameras? in Arlo Pro 4

The Pro4 cameras capture in 2k (at max resolution). Unfortunately the video quality still seems poor. Here's a string of 3 videos (converted to 1080p via HandBrake): Herd of Deer - YouTube

The original 2k mp4 files have a bitrate of 1.2 Mbps. This is a horrible data rate for even 1080p (which recommends 4 Mbps for standard frame rate, 12 Mbps for high frame rate).

If it's not possible to increase the bit rate for the cloud saves, is it possible to have the local saves (via base station) have a higher bit rate?

NOTE: I've already verified the following:

Cameras are configured to use "Best Video" for power management

Cameras are configured to use "Wide" for video mode

Base Station configured to use "Maximum Resolution" for recording
