It appears the 2K MP4 files from the PRO4 cameras are not usable by any application other than VLC. Using the VLC "convert" feature doesn't help either as even VLC cannot convert them into a format that looks like the original.

I'm trying to take three video clips of deer crossing my driveway and splice them together in a video app, but the app doesn't like the original MP4 files. If I used "converted" files from VLC using a 1080P resolution, many of the frames are wrong.

Anyone else find a solution for working with the MP4 files?

Would be nice if Arlo crafted up a simple converter tool 🙂

HandBrake appears to have done the conversion beautifully.
