Is anyone else experiencing the inability of Pro 4 cameras to detect vehicles, people or animals and instead the cameras tag it as generic “motion”? The issue appears to be intermittent – sometimes it properly tags the detailed cause of the motion (and therefore I get a smart notification) and sometimes it does not. Very troubling.

Attached is a screenshot for a recent event that was simply tagged as “motion”.

The servers may be having issues identifying the subject for whatever reason. WHen in Feed, make sure you're not in full screen view, click on the 3 dot menu at the top and choose Donate Video. That way the team has a chance to review the issue and perhaps resolve it.

So I have not yet upgraded from the old version. I’m still using Library. Does that change your answer?

It’s hard for me to understand how the cameras will detect a squirrel but miss a UPS delivery van.

AI is weird. No one (including the developers) know what the algorithm is looking for in the image.

That said, it is surprising that it couldn't find the van in your screenshot - so hopefully Arlo will add the video to their training set.
