topic Camera offline notification in Arlo Pro 4

Hello.

I have been searching the forum but have not found a sufficient answer.

How come I do not get a notification when one of my cameras go offline. I could be as simple as a battery issue, but also potentially sinister like wi-fi jamming. Looking through the threads, all I see is replies like "this request has been forwarded too [some or other] developement team". This responce is not good enough in my view.

How am I supposed to trust the system if one or several cameras can go offline without me beeing notified? Is the fix to sit all day with the app open? Seems impractical...

This notification option has to be a simple fix- pehaps it exists without me seeing it. I hope so because this is becoming a rather crucial trust issue with this system.

It is unlikely that arlo will implement this feature as doing so would seriously impact the camera’s battery life.

Constant communication would be required for cameras for arlo to know when it fails. Currently arlo may only pole the cameras twice a day to confirm operation but this would probably cause false alert notifications as there are numerous reasons for the communication to be temporary lost.
