We do not have a one-time life time charge. You may have got a scam customer support. If you googled the number for support those ones are not real Arlo numbers. However, with that being said the plan is 19.99 for the Unlimited Plus Plan.

If you have subscription with the old plan, you can leave it for now.

Pricing in the US for "Arlo Basic" is the same as "Arlo Secure". If that is the case in your location there is no downside to switching at the next billing period.

Horrible Billing Customer Service. Without prior notification & my permission, i was charged more than I agreed to pay.

I agreed to and paid $12.99 for Basic Unlimited Plan on 09/22/24. I used my debit card. On 10/2024 and 11/24 I was charge more than the agreed to and previously billed amount. I noticed my plan had been changed without notice or my approval. I logged in and set it back to my original $12.99 Basic unlimited.i have been charged $12.99 each subsequent month since then. Until I noticed recently, once again my plan was changed, with no prior notice. When billing called me back I was told my plan was eliminated and I would be charged $19.99 in the future. When I did not agree to what they offered, ( $199.00 one time life time charge) I was insulted, yelled at and talked over.

I invested in 2 of these cameras. I will now need to replace them in the near future.

I have screen shots of billing history & email copies of my invoices.

well that explains a lot!

I did google your customer service number. I could not find one on your website.

Do you have a Customer Service/ Billing number.

If you have a subscription (which you do), you can go into the app, click on the silhouette on the top left, and then support center. You will have the option between chat and phone. If you have any problems, let me know.
