Is this the same issue you posted under "Switzerland"?

If this is sharing with your spouse, then you could alternatively just have her use your account credentials on her phone. Arlo used to only allow one login at time, but they changed that some months ago.

Note there is definitely something wrong with the friend account feature - a lot of folks are reporting that the "friend" can see the cameras, but cannot change the mode.

But to answer your question:

I recommend accepting the invite on a PC, since that seems to work more reliably than accepting it on a phone or tablet. Click on the "Create Account" link in the invite. That will open the browser to my.arlo.com. From there, she logs into her existing account - no need to create a new one. She does need to complete the two-factor authentication process. Once that is done, you should see the invite as accepted in your account.
