Arlo Pro4 XL Siren enabled for people and not animals

Arlo camera has the ability to differentiate between people and animals. I would like to trigger my siren when people are detected and not when my dogs are detected on certain days and times. I see the functionality for a schedule but only the ability to exclude animals from triggering notifications and not the siren. Please tell me Arlo has this functionality and Im just missing it. Otherwise the siren is useless as a security alarm for people with pets.

It would be a useful feature, but Arlo doesn't have it.

They have the functionality. All this is is a software change. Is there a liability concern? This makes absolutely no sense to me.

There would be a much longer lag between the detection and the siren sounding, since the classification is done in the cloud, and not the camera. I think that would reduce the deterrence effect.

FWIW, I wouldn't minimize the work required to make a "software change".
