Hi. Been running cameras on an eero and decided to move one camera farther away. Signal strength is weak to nothing, so decided to add a Ubiquiti U6 Mesh, created an SSID that only has the 2.4 GHz radio on. Have made it as generic as possible, no special settings on. Tried with WPA2 and no security. My phone connects to it no problem, under all conditions and from quite a distance. I've tried connecting with the hub method literally 10 ft. away from the AP and it won't, nor will it connect directly via wifi under the same conditions. Any ideas?

That will only work if you have a base. Do you?

@jettadiesel wrote:

It will refuse to connect to an unsecured network.

Try resetting the camera by

opening the housing

pressing sync until the LED flashes amber (about 15 seconds)

Then try adding it to your account again. Make sure the phone is connected to the new AP, and also that any VPN on the phone is disabled.
