There have been reports of solar panels depleting the batteries but I wouldn't expect that to happen to multiple panels/cameras. When the panels are connected and you check during the day, does the battery icon show a lightning bolt, indicating a connection and power being generated?

Hello everyone. I am new to this community so please bear with me. I purchased three Pro 4 cameras in January and thought I might add the solar panels which I did a couple of days ago. The cameras only work when the sun is shining directly on the solar panel. It seems to me that the batteries, which were fully charged when I had the solar panels installed, have discharged after one day and are not taking a charge through the solar panel. When I didn't have the solar panels installed the cameras with just the batteries lasted longer than two days. Anyone experiencing this? What did you do to it. I am considering removing the solar panels and getting my money back.

I've had similar issue with the solar panel,it doesn't even charge the camera, I've left the panel in direct sunlight for a whole day, then attached it to the camera and nothing happens. I didn't think the panel is working as it should. I had solar that were sitting in my garage all winter, took them out a few weeks ago plugged them into the charger(that was also in the garage) and you guessed it they worked, that's what I thought I was getting when I brought arlo's solar panel.Fooled me.

Thank you. To update you on this issue ... the two cameras with solar panels work fine while the sun is up but after dusk they go offline because they do not have any power. They were initially installed with fully charged batteries so it seems that the solar panels are not charging the panels.
