Thank you . I tried a new picture .
To my knowledge , no dropping. It’s been attached to the magnet attachment to our garage. It’s been cold (two or three days in January where windchill was below 0 degrees Fahrenheit ).

The camera view is fine but there’s a black double bar across one side. Any ideas ?

A close-up picture of the lens may be useful.

Unfortunately, the lens is out of focus so zooming in doesn't show enough details. Can you see any sort of damage? Was the camera dropped or somehow subjected to a shock?

Both pictures still aren't clear enough to be sure but on both I seem to see something possibly in a "V" shape on the left side of the lens as viewed from the front, near the edge where the lens touches the black plastic surround. Can you verify that is really there and not an artifact of the pictures? That would seem to possibly what's intruding into your recordings/view.

BTW, wind chill doesn't affect the camera. It's the actual ambient temp that does. Wind chill is just the speed at which something cools down to the ambient temp.
