Could be. But the place to start is finding out how much streaming this camera is doing at that location. As I said, you need to remove activity zones to test this.

We have a brand new battery and the camera drains the battery in less than a day. We have tried 3 other batteries (fully charged and work on other cameras) so we suspect the problem is with the camera draining the battery, rather than the problem being with the battery. Can anyone help us please?

About how many minutes of video recording is the camera doing per day? If you use activity zones, then remove them for a day - zones surpress recordings, so you can't estimate this when they are in use.
