purchased arlo 4 set motion to animals and people. but it keeps showing audio in the notification. I have the audio and spotlight shut off. And it keeps recording every minute!

Check the camera rule (in the modes you are using), and make sure audio detection is turned off there. Turning off the microphone in other places won't work.

Also, if you have CO/Smoke detection enabled for this camera, then turn that off. The camera has no smoke detector, instead it is listening for chirps from a nearby CO/Smoke alarm. So it also uses the mic.

audio is turned off, now Im getting notification that there is an animal on porch with sound, yet there is NO animal!

The classification isn't perfect for sure. Is there anything moving in the recording?
