The arlo cameras are only accessible using the arlo app software.

The arlo pro4 can operate without a arlo base/hub by directly connecting to the local wifi network with internet access to communicate with the arlo server.

A paid subscription is required to have access to arlo cloud storage/services once the trial subscription expires.

There is no method to access the camera hardware so making it almost unhackable.

Pro 4 camera direct IP access ?

I have a mature network of older web-based cameras that are each capable of direct IP access via a web browser or cam program. Can the Arlo Pro4 cameras be used without a hub, subscription, manufacturer-required Android/Apple software, etc. etc , then each camera given a local IP address and accessible remotely with browser-based generic camera software and/or android generic apps ? If so, is the Pro 4 then operating as a 'dumb' camera that can be remotely accessed ?
