Hi yes the nut built into the base of camera is not affixed to the camera plastic well and easily comes off. the wall mounts that came with the box are strong but cameras are too heavy and the nut just pops off

The pro 4 cameras are too heavy for the wall mounts that come with them.

I tried to attach the wall mount to the back of the camera but the little metal bolt that is recessed into the back of the camera easily comes off when you try to screw it into the mount.

Are there magnetic mounts? It is a great camera but it is too heavy for the wall mount .

These are the typical wall mounts that come with the camera:

https://www.arlo.com/en-us/accessories/VMA5000-10000S.html

However, they are the magnetic mounts and don't screw into the camera case. There are also kits of these cameras which may come with screw-in mounts like these:

https://www.arlo.com/en-us/accessories/VMA1001-11100S.html

Which do you have? If the latter ones, it would seem that you were possibly too vigorous in tightening the case to the mount although a manufacturing defect could be the issue. You could glue it into place but it may be better to contact official support to see if they would send you a replacement case. Use Settings, Support (Center) to choose your camera. Scroll down to Contacts to start the conversation.

That would be a good reason to contact official support for a replacement. Use the app and go to Settings, Support to select your camera model. Scroll down to Contacts and start talking to them.
